Hello - I'm really pleased that you're intrigued enough to explore my site!
I thrive on meeting people and sharing good conversation. So it's probably no surprise that speaking, writing and training have been a big part of my life.
For many years I worked in England and Australia for a large international Christian movement (Scripture Union). From the early 90s onward I worked closely with SU movements in continental Europe and the former Soviet republics. Initially my focus was on work in schools but increasingly I became involved with training and developing SU staff and volunteers then strategy and development.
I'm based in Milton Keynes in the UK and am working as a freelance. My wife, 'Tricia, was a commissioning editor with Scripture Union but is now a full time research student looking at the area of faith and dementia.

By the way, this picture has a story attached. As it was being taken (at the top of the Rockefeller Center in New York) I was aware of something going on at my side. I looked around and saw a young German, on his knees proposing marriage to his girlfriend. When we realised what was happening there was a huge cheer! Click here to see it.
